Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with eligibility for an active Maine license.
• National certification as NP or PA, with active Surgical First Assist certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct, surgical first-assisting experience with focus on general surgery or OB/GYN procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first assist to OB/GYN surgeons during surgeries, including robot-assisted procedures.
• Conduct pre- and post-operative assessments and plan wound care for upcoming surgeries.
• Perform inpatient rounds, coordinate care plans, and facilitate timely discharges.
