Job summary

Join Advocate Health as an Experienced OB/GYN Sonographer at the West Allis OB/GYN Clinic. This part-time role features a 24-hour work week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday shifts, and a 1st shift schedule with no weekends or holidays.

We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus and full benefits starting on day one. Requires ARDMS RDMS in abdomen and OB/GYN, plus BLS within 6 months. Typically 2 years of sonography experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification for abdomen or OB/GYN required unless department leader approves exemption.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 6 months.
• Typically requires 2 years of experience as a sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN diagnostic ultrasound exams and communicate results to the interpreting physician.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to conduct OB/GYN studies with accurate image acquisition.
• Review patient history and orders to ensure exam accuracy and safety.
• Position patients and select transducers and factors for optimal imaging.
