Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks a Registered Ob/Gyn Sonographer to perform OB imaging at TCHMS offices under physician oversight and clinical management.

You will conduct ultrasound exams per AIUM/ACOG guidelines, prep patients, assist physicians, maintain records and equipment, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives. Minimum 1 year high-risk OB/GYN experience preferred. RDMS OB/GYN certification required and ongoing CE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree in Ultrasound or Allied Health.
• RDMS OB/GYN registration is required.
• Minimum of 1 year in high risk OB/GYN ultrasound.
• Familiarity with Doppler, fetal anatomy and structured reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations per AIUM/ACOG guidelines.
• Prepare patients and assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in HIS.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to infection control and safety policies.
• Participate in department process improvement and peer review.
• Schedule add-on and emergency exams when possible.
