Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Sonographer in Obstetrics and Gynecology for the Women's Health clinic at Cherry Drive. The role operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform prenatal imaging and testing with a focus on quality and patient comfort.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program, RDMS (OB/Gyn) within six months of hire, and CPR certification or completion within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Program for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
• RDMS (OB/Gyn) registry must be obtained within six (6)months from date of hire.
• Must meet Continuing Medical Education requirements in accordance with ARDMS guidelines.
• CPR certification required or must obtain within six (6) months from date of hire).
• Two (2) years of General or one (1) year Maternal Fetal scanning experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform prenatal sonographic procedures.
• Provide high-quality imaging for prenatal diagnoses and testing with patient comfort in mind.
