Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a part-time Sonographer for the Women’s Care of Wood County. The role involves obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging, requiring ARDMS certification and OB/GYN experience.

Preference for 3D/4D scanning skills, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. The position is 16 hours per week, with a focus on quality care, confidentiality, and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent experience accepted by ARDMS.
• OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
• Two years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound scans and related procedures.
• Ensure accurate clinical history is obtained and correlated with exams.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection control; observe safety rules.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
