Job summary

The Christ College is seeking a Registered Obstetric/Gynecologic Sonographer for its TCHMS offices. The role requires OB/GYN ultrasound proficiency and RDMS certification, with at least one year in high‑risk OB/GYN imaging. You will ensure high-quality studies, proper documentation, and patient safety.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians during procedures, maintaining equipment, and upholding HIPAA and care standards while coordinating with clinic leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in Ultrasound or related Allied Health field.
• RDMS in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
• Minimum 1 year in high-risk OB/GYN ultrasound diagnostics and procedures.
• Maintain continuing education requirements for registry and ACR/AIUM as appropriate.
• BLS for Allied Health Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/Gyn imaging and provide ultrasound-guided assistance to the physician during procedures.
• Follow testing protocols established by Medical Director and standards; ensure quality images and data.
• Prepare patients; document exams and maintain orderly records; ensure equipment safety and maintenance.
• Interact with patients, families, and staff; explain procedures as needed; uphold HIPAA and professional conduct.
• Maintain knowledge of Information Systems, including HIS and image archival systems; ensure accurate order entry and exam tracking.
• Participate in department quality control, process improvement activities, and meetings; contribute to efficient department operation.
