Job summary

Women's Care is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations, including routine OB/GYN and specialized 3D-4D scans, and to document findings in the EMR. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and professional communication within a team.

Candidates should have ARDMS certification and 1–2 years of OB/GYN or MFM experience, with strong multitasking abilities and reliability. On-site position with benefits and growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent OB/GYN or MFM experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner.
• Ability to use a computer and enter data in EMR; eCW a plus.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings.
• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for quality and interprets findings.
• Documents/updates information in the EMR.
• Represents clinic professionally and treats customers with courtesy.
• Attends required meetings and participates in development activities.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
