Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team.

You will administer medications, educate patients and families, promote safety and quality, and participate in performance improvement and ongoing professional development. The role is a 40-hour work week, days shift, with opportunities for professional growth within Mercyhealth's integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice; CPR/BLS in 90 days.
• Other certifications per department requirements (e.g., ACLS, PALS).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process with interdisciplinary teams.
• Administers medications and treatments per policies and state laws.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation of care.
• Develops patient care plans in collaboration with Physicians and families.
• Educates patients and families at appropriate levels.
