Job summary

Merit Health Natchez is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across nursing specialties, guided by the nursing process and physician orders. You’ll coordinate care, monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years clinical nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in state or compact state required.
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing process and policy.
• Document findings and report condition changes to care team.
• Administer medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge care.
• Uphold infection control standards and patient safety.
• Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
