Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Billings Downtown Clinic. The role requires clinical assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and teamwork.

Required: RN license in MT, BLS-HCP; BSN preferred; 2+ years experience preferred; nights/weekends may be required. On-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN must complete BSN within four years unless 15+ years of RN acute care experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.
• BSN degree preferred; unit/service certification preferred; prior RN experience preferred.
• Regular attendance to perform work on site; nights/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care to patients following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain patient consent and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Obtain and document health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assess disease condition.
• Provide care per practice guidelines, standards of care, and applicable laws.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatment progress; consult physicians as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Document assessment and intervention data using medical records/forms.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes.
• Track quality assurance data and monitor for care management.
