Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Billings Downtown Clinic. The role requires comprehensive nursing care, assessment, planning, and coordination with the health team to deliver patient-centered care.

The RN must hold an active state license, complete BSN within four years if ASN/ADN, and maintain BLS-HCP certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate are preferred for unit needs. Day shifts with four 10-hour days are typical.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
• ASN/ADN degree holders must obtain BSN within four years of hire unless they have 15+ years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days of hire; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.
• BSN degree is preferred and certification appropriate for unit/service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assesses disease condition.
• Delivers prescribed treatments and medications; monitors progress and patient response; consults physicians as needed.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Documents data using medical records or automated systems; participates in multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitors quality assurance data and supports chronic and acute care management.
