Job summary

Optum CA is seeking an Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team in Northridge, CA. You will provide care across obstetric and gynecologic conditions in a collaborative ambulatory setting, with a dedicated care team.

The clinic operates Monday through Friday with a 5-person call rotation; average 18-20 patients daily; deliveries and surgeries at nearby hospital and ASC. We offer strong benefits and growth opportunities within Optum’s national organization.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS credential required.
• Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active CA medical license or ability to obtain before employment.
• Valid DEA license before employment.
• Active BLS certification.
• Welcome 2025 graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to a diverse patient population.
• Manage routine well-woman exams, prenatal and postnatal care.
• Deliveries and surgeries performed at nearby hospital and ASC.
• Collaborate with a dedicated care team in a multispecialty group.

Position Highlights:

• Clinic Location: Mission Hills and Northridge

• Clinic Schedule: Monday - Friday

• Call Schedule: in a 5 person rotation

• Comfortable seeing wide range of Obstetrical and Gynecological conditions

• Manage patient care for routine well woman's exams, follow up appointments, family and pre-natal care.

• Deliveries and surgeries performed at nearby hospital and ASC

• Average Daily Patients Per Day: 18-20

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S

• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology

• Active, unrestricted medical license in CA or the ability to obtain prior to employment

• Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment

• Active BLS certification

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $291,500 - $501,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
