Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician in Birmingham, AL to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care within a technology-forward practice affiliated with a hospital offering advanced maternal and newborn support.

You will join a team of 11 physicians and work with urogynecology and pelvic pain specialists in a collaborative environment with access to a Level III NICU and robotic surgical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Medical degree is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (including candidates completing OB/GYN residency in 2026 or 2027)
• Valid state medical license

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic clinical care.
• Collaborate with a team of 11 physicians including urogynecology and pelvic pain specialists.
• Participate in a 1:6 call schedule with double coverage and OB hospitalists.
• Utilize state-of-the-art facilities including a new breast CT scanner, onsite mammography, and surgical robotics.
• Deliver care in partnership with an affiliated hospital featuring a Level III NICU.
• Engage in regular team meetings focused on clinical excellence, mentorship, and collaboration.
