Job summary

Winn Army Community Hospital in Fort Stewart, GA is seeking a physician in OB/GYN to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings. The role includes on-call duties and collaboration with midwifery and NP staff.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO from a US/Canada medical school with OB/GYN residency, an unrestricted US license, and active DEA; BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from a US/Canada accredited medical school with residency in OB/GYN.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one US state.
• Minimum one year of full-scope OB/GYN experience in the last two years.
• Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of OB/GYN.
• Current DEA registration and required AHA certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and on-call OB/GYN services.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, order/interpret tests, diagnose, treat, and refer when needed.
• Respond to Code Blue and manage resuscitation and notify next-of-kin when applicable.
• Consult with Nurse Midwives, NPs, and other staff; maintain medical records per regulations.
• Remain on-site during scheduled shifts; participate in a defined call schedule.
