Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
• Minimum of one year of full-scope OB-GYN experience within the past two years.
• Current DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Perform patient examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide surgical and nonsurgical treatment for gynecological conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Offer clinical consultation to nurse midwives and nurse practitioners.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate treatment.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and participate in labor and delivery coverage.

Key Responsibilities

As an OB-GYN Physician, you will:

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Perform patient examinations, evaluate diagnostic results, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide surgical and nonsurgical treatment for gynecological conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Offer clinical consultation and guidance to nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and other medical professionals.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate emergency treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
• Participate in scheduled labor and delivery coverage and on-call rotations.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school, with successful completion of postgraduate training.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
• Minimum of one year of full-scope OB-GYN experience within the past two years.
• Current and valid individual DEA registration.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Work Schedule & On-Call Expectations

The position features a structured schedule designed to provide consistent clinical coverage and predictable time off.

Scheduled Responsibilities

• 14 clinic days, including 1-3 operating room days.
• One weekend of primary in-house call, consisting of two 12-hour shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
• Two weeknight primary calls.
• Two primary or backup daytime calls supporting Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, and other consultations.
• Rotating backup pager coverage aligned with the primary call schedule.

Physicians participating in secondary or backup call rotations must be able to respond within 30 minutes.
