Qualifications

• US Citizenship required
• Board Eligible/Certified in OB/GYN
• Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide a Medical Officer board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN to carry a full range of cases, including the most difficult, and provide consultative services to other staff on difficult OB/GYN cases; cases requiring treatment or services beyond existing hospital facilities are referred elsewhere.
• Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe for OB/GYN patients including complex cases; perform surgeries under supervision and assist in the OR; perform basic colposcopy and treatment of dysplasia; supervise staff and administer medicine and records.
• Exercise consultative responsibility at a high professional level; act as OB/GYN consultant for more complicated cases; be on call to advise and provide back-up.
• Provide high risk ultrasound clinic including biometry, fetal surveillance and biophysical profile; prepare basic infertility workup and perinatal risk management education.
• Maintain current unrestricted license; pursue CME and stay updated with current literature.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
