Job summary

Hoag Health System seeks a full-time OB/GYN to join its growing program in Newport Beach, California. The position supports general obstetrics and gynecology with hospital coverage in Newport Beach and Irvine, and a collaborative team of nurses, aides, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and OB hospitalists.

Candidates must be board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, hold or be eligible for a CA license, and have 2–3 years of autonomous practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active California medical license or ability to obtain.
• Graduate from an ACGME-accredited program.
• 2-3 years of autonomous Ob/Gyn experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope obstetrics and gynecology care in Newport Beach, with hospital coverage at nearby facilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in call schedule and maintain clinical and surgical privileges at Hoag Hospital.
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation and patient management.
