HealthNet seeks an obstetric and gynecologic physician to provide comprehensive care at Barrington Health Center in Indianapolis. The role includes outpatient and inpatient duties, with a starting salary of $246,841 per year and a sign-on bonus.

The physician will document care, educate patients, and coordinate with Methodist Hospital staff and HealthNet teams. Responsibilities include daily rounds, supervision of residents and nursing staff, and participation in quality assurance and community

Qualifications

• Indiana M.D. license required and board certification/eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility required.
• DEA and SEA certifications required.
• CPR certification required.
• Completion of residency program.
• Hospital staff membership required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, therapies, consultations, referrals, education, screenings and preventive care.
• Lead and oversee residents, nurse midwives and other medical staff.
• Maintain concise, accurate documentation and ensure patient confidentiality.
