Qualifications

• Requires Indiana MD license.
• Board certification or board eligibility.
• DEA and SEA certifications.
• CPR certification.
• Completion of residency program.
• Hospital medical staff membership.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care in outpatient and inpatient settings with concise documentation and patient education.
• Conduct daily patient rounds and write progress notes for hospital patients.
• Lead teaching for residents, nurse midwives, and NP students; oversee care for HealthNet and Methodist Hospital patients when requested.
• Participate in provider performance audits, quality assurance, and peer review.
• Communicate with patients using health literacy methods and respond to inquiries promptly.
