Summa Health is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join our team in Akron, Ohio. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty practice with nearly 700 providers.

The system delivered 5,000+ deliveries in 2025 at the Women’s Center on the Akron Campus and offers a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University may be available, with a strong emphasis on resident education and

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willing to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care at Summa Health Medical Group in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Teach and collaborate with residents and midlevel staff.
• Operate within the Epic EMR system and participate in an academic appointment as appropriate.
