Job summary

Ascension is seeking a full-time licensed Physician MD/DO for their facility in Wichita, KS. This role involves joining an established team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs, with a focus on gynecology only. The candidate will lead initiatives to improve care quality while maintaining strong patient relationships.

Schedule: Full-Time

Sign-on bonus: $30,000

Relocation assistance: up to $10,000

Productivity Incentives: RVU

CME allowance: $3,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs
• Call structure: 1:6 EMTALA/Gynecology only
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Access to robotics for gynecology cases.
• Work as an employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Lead collaborative efforts to continuously improve quality and cost-effectiveness of care delivered, contributing to system-wide excellence.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships by accepting patient referrals from internal and external physician colleagues.

Minimum Requirements

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts, obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by the Local Credentialing Office.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
