Job summary

Middlesex OB/GYN Associates, a division of Physicians for Women's Health CT, seeks a full-time OB/GYN physician to support our Middlesex County practice. The candidate will join an established team with hospital affiliation and modern office facilities.

We offer a collaborative environment, on-site imaging and procedures, and opportunities for partnership track. CT licensure or eligibility is required, with a focus on high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care.

Qualifications

• Experience in OB/GYN or women's health care.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Board certification or eligibility is required.
• Licensed or eligible for CT medical license.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OB/GYN physical examinations and manage patient care.
• Order and perform procedures such as injections, immunizations, and wound care.
• Counsel patients on treatments, family planning, and health maintenance.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and maintain continuity of care.

Middlesex OB/GYN Associates, of Physicians for Women's Health, is seeking a full-time Physician to support our OB/GYN practice. Current Provider staffing within the practice includes 5 MDs, 1 FNP, 1 WHNP, and 1 PMHNP. Obstetricians take equal call and service patients in two office locations: Middletown, CT and Essex, CT.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examination, and compile patient medical data including health history and results of physical examination.
• Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
• Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
• Develop and implement patient management plans, follow hospitalized patients as appropriate, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
• Gain competence in Electronic Medical Record System.
• Billing submission at time of office visit.

Skills/qualifications

• Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health
• MD or DO from accredited medical school
• Board certified or board eligible
• Connecticut License or able to obtain
• Federal and State controlled substance licenses
• Eligible for hospital privileges
• Effective communication (verbal and written), listening, and customer service skills
