Women's Health Connecticut is seeking a full-time Physician for Women's Health to support OB/GYN services in New Milford, CT, across two locations. The role requires diagnosing conditions, advising on fetal development, and delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care with emphasis on patient-centered service.
Candidates should have an MD or DO, be board eligible or board certified, and hold CT licensure along with required federal/state licenses.
Physician for Women's Health (PWH), a proud affiliate of Women's Health Connecticut, is comprised of Physicians who demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide obstetrical and gynecological care, appropriate to the age of the patients served. Women's Healthcare of New Milford, a Physician for Women's Health affiliate, located in New Milford, CT, is seeking a full-time Physician to support our OB/GYN practice four‑days per week. Current MD staffing within the practice includes 2 MDs, 1 PA and 1 CNM. Physicians take equal call and service patients in two office locations: New Milford and Torrington. The practice is affiliated with New Milford Hospital and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
Candidates must have the ability to diagnose patient conditions and provide appropriate treatment recommendations. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of fetal growth and development and have the ability to identify and categorize each patient's age‑specific grouping of needs.
