Overview

Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join our multi-specialty group in the Sacramento, CA area.

Highlights

  1. Very competitive sign-on bonus of 125k or 100k loan repayment/85k sign on
  2. Join an established group of OB/GYN Physicians
  3. Incoming physician would be based out of Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, CA
  4. Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center
  5. 50/50 mix of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  6. Experience/interest in high-risk OB is preferred
  7. Robotics available, though not required
  8. Shareholder track, competitive compensation with bonus potential, desirable benefits
  9. Option for additional income with hospitalist and back-up shifts at regional hospitals

Compensation Range: $350,000 - $355,000 / Year

Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is a dynamic, growing organization with a long-standing history of providing exceptional medical care in the Sacramento area. MMG is a large multi-specialty medical group of 500+ providers comprised of primary care physicians, specialists in more than 30 medical and surgical specialties, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. These professionals provide seamless primary and specialty care, working together to meet the unique needs of each individual patient.

MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Mercy Medical Group is aligned with Dignity Health, operating on a medical foundation model. Dignity Health is a part of CommonSpirit Health, one of the nation's largest health systems dedicated to advancing health for all people.

Responsibilities

  2. Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  4. Diagnostic Procedures: Order and interpret tests; collaborate with specialists for further evaluation.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
  6. Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
  7. Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

  1. A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  2. Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  3. Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Pay Range

$168.26 - $175.48 /hour
