McPherson Hospital, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a compassionate Obstetrics/Gynecology physician to join our rural health team. You will provide prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, working closely with patients and families to promote health and wellness.

This role offers inpatient and outpatient OB services on the hospital campus with access to radiology, laboratory, and a supportive hospitalist team. A state-licensed practice with a focus on work-life balance and community involvement.

Qualifications

• MD or DO must be from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Completed an accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency.
• Current state medical license and DEA registration.
• Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to rural healthcare and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services within clinic and hospital.
• Provide inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services including delivery.
• Handle administrative duties such as lab reports, charts, and medication refills.
• Participate in OB on-call rotations with delivering physicians.
• Collaborate with a team to develop treatment plans and coordinate care.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR system.
• Engage with patients and families to promote health education and wellness.
• Contribute to community outreach and clinic growth.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated experienced Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. You will play a crucial role in our community, working closely with patients and their families to promote health, wellness, and preventative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services throughout clinic and hospital.
• Provides inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services, including infant delivery and related surgical procedures in the hospital.
• Participates in administrative duties, including lab reports, charts, and medication refills reviewed and managed appropriately.
• Participate in OB on-call rotation with other dedicated delivering physicians.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and coordinate patient care.
• Completes all required documentation accurately, timely, and thoroughly in accordance with department standards and to comply with electronic medical record requirements.
• Engage with patients and families to promote health education and wellness initiatives.
• Participate in community outreach programs and contribute to the clinic's growth and development.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations.
