Job summary

Ascension is seeking a physician to join a full-time OB/GYN practice at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin. The role focuses on delivering high-quality inpatient and outpatient care and contributing to the launch of the new Ascension Seton Women’s Hospital.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, patient-centered care and utilize advanced DaVinci robotics during dedicated block time.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with MD or DO.
• Board certification optional but encouraged.
• Texas Medical Board license active at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OB/GYN care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Support the launch of Ascension Seton Women’s Hospital clinically and operationally.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, and support staff for seamless patient care.
• Utilize DaVinci Robotics for advanced minimally invasive procedures.
• Participate in a 1:12 hospital call schedule to support patient care.

About the Practice

• Experienced team of 2 physicians, 2 NPs, 4 MAs, 2 RNs, 1 LVN, clinic manager, 2 Surgery Schedulers, 3 AOOs, 1 Sonography Tech
• Call structure: 1 in 12 hospital call for clinic patients
• Practice setting: Inpatient/Outpatient mix
• DaVinci Robotics surgery system with dedicated surgery time
• Serene, upscale clinic environment in the beautiful Hill Country corridor, paired with deliveries at Austin's newest facility focused on women's health, Ascension Seton Women's Hospital

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
