Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and an RN license in DC/MD/VA
• 1–2 years nursing experience in ambulatory setting preferred
• CPR certification; Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification within stated timeline

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and provide patient education and support
• Document and communicate patient information accurately in chart and verbal formats
• Perform venipuncture and collect samples for testing
• Dispense, monitor, and administer medications per physician plan
• Participate in quality and service improvement teams and multidisciplinary meetings
