Job summary

Qualifications

• CA RN and CA NP License- required.
• MSN/DNP with Obstetrics and Gynecology WHNP or FNP Specialty- required.
• BLS Certification from the AHA or American Red Cross- required.
• National Certification in NP Specialty- required.
• Minimum 2 years OBGYN experience in RN or NP role- required.
• Document patient care concisely and comprehensively- required.
• Strong writing skills for correspondence- required.
• Excel, Word and other software programs- required.
• Ability to work independently with minimum directions- required.
• Ability to set priorities- required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical support and expertise in outpatient obstetrics/gynecology.
• Perform medical assessments, diagnose gynecologic/obstetric conditions, assist procedures.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and healthcare professionals.
• Travel to department clinics as assigned for coverage.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate referrals and document services.
