Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold CA RN and CA NP licenses.
• MSN/DNP with WHNP or FNP specialty.
• BLS certification required.
• National NP specialty certification required.
• OBGYN experience: at least 2 years as RN or NP.
• Previous NP experience required.
• CA NP furnishing with Schedule II, NPI#, DEA#, PECOS enrollment.
• Document patient care concisely and comprehensively.
• Strong written communication to compose detailed correspondence.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff and academics.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive histories, perform physical and pelvic examinations.
• Communicate treatment plans and evaluate laboratory and imaging results.
• Assist in longitudinal care and coordinate referrals.
• Travel to department clinics throughout the community as assigned.
• Participate in rounds and educate trainees and staff.
