Bedford Commons OB-GYN is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Bedford, NH. You will provide essential clinical and administrative support, document patient information in the EMR, and help maintain a smooth patient flow across multiple offices in Bedford, Derry, Londonderry, and Windham.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, MA program completion or 2–3 years’ experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant program or 2–3 years of MA experience in a physician's office is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and interview patients, obtain visit information and document relevant medical data.
• Record vital signs accurately (BP, temp, weight, etc.).
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while ensuring comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine clinical procedures within scope of training and policy.
• Administer injections as directed.
• Perform routine lab procedures and testing as assigned.
• Process, label, store, and dispose of specimens per procedures.
• Document clinical activities in the EMR.
• Provide patient education per orders and protocols.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and stock supplies.
• Monitor inventory and reorder as needed.
• Review charts 24–48 hours before appointments and verify records and referrals.
