Job summary

Revo Health seeks a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to support OB/GYN services across all life stages. This 0.9 FTE role runs Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM at our Edina location.

The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant or MLT program background, 1+ year clinic experience, and is AAMA or AMT certified, or willing to become certified; limited-scope x-ray licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant or MLT program.
• AAMA or AMT certification; willing to certify if not currently certified.
• 1+ year MA experience in a clinic setting.
• Willing to train externship graduates.
• X-ray license or willingness to obtain limited scope license for bone density scans (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and collect medical history.
• Measure vital signs and document in chart.
• Obtain blood specimens by venipuncture or finger sticks.
• Perform in-house testing (UA, Hgb, glucose tests, ICT stool).
• Assist physician and NP in exam rooms.
• Provide patient instructions as directed.
• Ensure reports and labs are filed in EMR.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies; prepare sterilization.
• Maintain logs for fridge temps, medications, oxygen, etc.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
