• Assists providers with examinations, procedures and treatments per protocols.
• Performs ancillary services (venipuncture, x-rays) per protocol.
• Maintains and files medical records and test results.
• Coordinates care via calls, scheduling, refills per protocol.
• Uses EMR and systems to complete tasks per policies.
• Tracks tests, procedures and referrals per protocol.
• Administers meds as directed by physician order.
• Schedules tests and referrals and tracks them.
• Provides patient education per provider instruction.
• Supports quality initiatives, safety, and supplies ordering.
• Maintains HIPAA and OSHA policy compliance.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction and team collaboration.
