Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Northeast Ohio OBGYN department in Streetsboro. The role includes rooming patients, obtaining vitals, charting in the EMR, assisting with procedures, and supporting providers to promote efficient patient flow and patient-centered care.

Requirements include completion of a Medical Assistant program and a high school diploma or GED; 1+ year of clinical experience is expected. CMA and BLS are preferred within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow.

• Maintains a safe environment for patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned; adheres to policies and PHI requirements.
