Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital is seeking a caregiver in the OB/GYN department to join a Magnet-recognized team. You will support prenatal care, screenings and general gynecology, while working in a culture that emphasizes respect, professionalism and teamwork.

The role involves both clinical and administrative duties, with shift options from 8:00am–4:30pm or 7:00am–7:30pm, and a focus on compassionate patient care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved medical assisting program OR military training as a hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association; if not held, must be obtained during the new hire period.
• Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments by gathering and updating health information, identifying medication changes, updating allergies, collecting specimens, performing tests and documenting patient care.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative/clerical duties such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
