Job summary

Banner Health in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant for our OB/GYN clinic. You will support clinicians during exams, handle vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, and vaccinations, and help prepare patients for procedures.

You will coordinate referrals and tests, manage records and scheduling, and maintain a clean clinical area. This full-time role offers day shifts, growth, and a $1,000 hire-on bonus for external candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Banner-approved medical assistant training program meeting state regulations.
• Active Medical Assistant certification is required (RMA/CMA/CCMA/NCMA).
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and treatment by taking vital signs and recording symptoms.
• Assists providers with exams and minor in-office procedures including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Coordinates and manages patient care including referrals, pre-certifications, and scheduling.
• Provides clerical support and ensures complete medical records and billing information.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and manages supplies.
