Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting medical history, performing basic lab tasks, and assisting providers with procedures. The role requires M.A. training and strong communication.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and benefits eligibility with a 40-hour work week, Mon-Thu 8-5 and Fri 7-2 schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• May have completed structured military medical training in lieu of formal program.
• Wake Forest, IL/WI, Floyd & Navicent divisions have location-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vital signs, medical history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties as ordered.
• Performs venipuncture, specimen handling, and results tracking.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely per rights of administration.
• Handles patient scheduling, referrals, and insurance authorizations.
• Maintains clean, stocked work environment and hygiene standards.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care and effective team communication.
