Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for East Obstetrics and Gynecology. The LPN delivers patient care under physician direction, preparing and assessing patients for visits and reporting responses to care. Works as part of a care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, labeling specimens, and assisting in procedures. BLS and active LPN license required; one year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active state LPN licensure or LPN applicant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year of clinical patient care experience is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to meet patient/family needs.
• Provide direct basic nursing care per LPN scope of practice.
• Assist in procedures, treatments and interventions as needed.
• Support administrative duties as assigned by RN or physician.
