Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for East Obstetrics and Gynecology. The role delivers patient care under physician direction, assisting with exams and procedures, and supporting the care team throughout visits.

Responsibilities include collaborating with clinicians, preparing patients, labeling specimens, and performing duties within the LPN scope. Active licensure and BLS are required; one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN licensure in the state
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of clinical patient care experience (preferred)
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with physicians and care team to meet patient needs
• Provides direct basic nursing care per LPN scope
• Assists with specimen labeling and packaging as trained
• Supports clerical/administrative tasks as needed
• Acts as chaperone for examinations as requested
• Assists with procedures, treatments, and interventions
• Other duties as assigned
