Job summary

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as an LPN in a busy physician practice.
• Licensed LPN required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with clinical practices and procedures.
• Computer skills and experience with EMR systems (Cerner).
• Ability to perform EKGs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in daily huddle to review schedule and patient needs.
• Screen patients and take vitals per protocol; record findings in Cerner EMR.
• Review medications and allergies; process E-Prescribing.
• Prepare and administer injections; draw blood as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure accurate charting and coordination of care in a busy OB/GYN clinic.
