Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
• Graduate of accredited school of Practical Nursing.
• High School diploma / GED required.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing care under the direction of a Registered Professional.
• Assists with treatments and procedures and follows the established nursing plan of care.
• Maintains accurate vital signs and patient data per protocols.
• Recognizes high-risk situations and reports them to the supervisor.
• Transcribes physician orders and uses basic computer systems relevant to care.
• Works as part of the clinical team to deliver patient-centered care.
