Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Non-Exempt LPN to join the Women’s Services OB/GYN team. The role supports patient care on the day shift, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 8-hour shifts.

You will assess patients, administer medications, perform venipuncture and basic nursing tasks, and contribute to implementing care plans in collaboration with providers.

A Massachusetts license and BLS certification are required; a signing bonus may be available and discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current Massachusetts licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health status and document data.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
• Perform venipuncture, 12-lead EKGs, and vaccinations.
• Develop and evaluate care plans with nursing actions and education.
