Temple Health is seeking a dedicated Laborist to join our OB/GYN team in Philadelphia. This role provides 24/7 labor and delivery coverage, handles obstetric emergencies, and supervises residents and midlevel providers in the OB ED and triage settings.

The position emphasizes teaching medical students and residents, with opportunities for both clinical and didactic instruction, in a leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or IMG equivalent.
• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
• Eligibility to obtain PA medical license and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 Labor & Delivery coverage.
• Manage obstetric and gynecology emergencies and trauma through the ED.
• Supervise residents and midlevel providers in OB triage/ED.
• Manage postpartum patients and high‑risk postpartum service.
• Engage in education and training of medical students and residents.
• Participate in clinical and didactic teaching.
• Provide supervision to medical students and residents.

Education

MD/DO or international medical graduate equivalent

Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Eligibility to receive an unrestricted medical license and DEA in Pennsylvania
