Job summary

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist to join a growing Women’s Health team at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco.

We provide full-scope obstetric care in a high-acuity setting, supported by a Level 3+ NICU with in-house neonatology, anesthesiology, maternal-fetal medicine, and midwifery support. Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary practice focused on safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG).
• Eligible for California medical licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing obstetric presentations.
• Patient-centered, team-oriented approach.
• Collaborates with midwives and multidisciplinary hospital teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope inpatient obstetric care including labor, delivery, and postpartum management.
• Manage obstetric triage and acute obstetric presentations.
• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries; manage obstetric emergencies.
• Collaborate with SWBMG OB/GYN physicians, CNMs, MFM, anesthesiology, neonatology, and nursing teams.
• Provide consultation and support for complex/high-risk obstetric patients.
• Participate in one outpatient clinic day per week.
• Support quality, safety, and clinical improvement in Women's Health.
• Contribute to a collegial, team-based environment.
