Job summary

Sutter West Bay Medical Group seeks a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist to join the Women's Health team at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. The role provides full-scope inpatient obstetric care in a high-acuity setting with Level 3+ NICU and in-house subspecialty support, under a collaborative, multidisciplinary model.

Responsibilities include labor management, deliveries, triage, and postpartum care, with one outpatient clinic day weekly and emphasis on safety, quality, and

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Valid California medical licensure or eligibility essential.
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope inpatient obstetric care including labor management, delivery and postpartum care.
• Manage obstetric triage and acute presentations.
• Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries and handle obstetric emergencies.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, MFM, anesthesiology, neonatology and nursing teams.
• Offer consultation for complex or high-risk obstetric patients.
• Participate in one outpatient clinic day per week.
• Support quality, safety, and clinical improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a collegial, multidisciplinary physician culture.
