Job Summary:	The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an opening for one (1) OBGYN Hospitalists at the faculty rank of Senior Instructor or higher. The FTE for each position will be at 0.7 FTE. Job Responsibilities: Successful candidates must demonstrate competency obtaining patient histories, physical examination, and the assessment and development of appropriate plans of medical and surgical care in the OBGYN clinical setting.Candidates must demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing, with primary care providers, specialists, and team members to meet the comprehensive needs of patients. Clinical responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical patient care Training residents to provide evidence-based OBGYN care Treating and managing high acuity patient volumes on Labor and Delivery and the Operating Room Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teaching medical students and residents Simulation training Research and/or Quality Improvement
Work Location:	Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in the greater Aurora area, Colorado.
