Job summary

Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology in Durham, NC seeks an Obstetrics and Gynecology Generalist or Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Division of Duke Women's Community and Population Health.

The role includes performing complex gynecologic surgery, providing obstetric and well-woman care, supervising residents and medical students, and collaborating with Maternal-Fetal Medicine across Duke facilities and clinics.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency.
• Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship preferred.
• Five years of postgraduate practice in private or academic settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex gynecologic surgery (hysterectomies and other benign procedures).
• Supervise residents and medical students in clinics and OR.
• Provide gynecologic care across all ages including contraception, menopause and related problems.
• Deliver obstetric and gynecologic care at Duke clinic locations in Durham, NC.
• Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine and high-risk obstetric care team.
• Participate in departmental Grand Rounds.
