Job summary

Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks an OB/GYN generalist or minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon to join the Division of Women’s Community and Population Health in Durham, NC. You will perform complex gynecologic surgeries at DUH/DRH and lead resident teaching in clinics and OR.

The role includes comprehensive gynecology care, contraception, menopause, well-woman visits, and collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine on L&D.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency.
• Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship preferred.
• Candidates should have five years of postgraduate practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex gynecologic surgery including hysterectomies and benign procedures.
• Supervise and teach residents and medical students in clinics and OR.
• Provide gynecologic care across all ages and manage contraception, menopause, and well-woman care.
• Deliver obstetric and gynecologic care at Durham clinic locations and support MFM on L&D.
