Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking an OB/GYN consultant to provide high-quality obstetric and gynecologic surgical care across Southeast Alaska. The ideal candidate will perform complex surgeries, consult with family practice physicians, and manage patients throughout pregnancy and labor.

This role requires an M.D. or D.O. degree, valid Alaska State Medical Board licensure, and completion of an accredited residency. SEARHC offers competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency.
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive obstetrical services to inpatients and outpatients.
• Acts as gynecologic consultant for all SEARHC providers.
• Performs obstetric and gynecologic surgical procedures.
• Covers hospitals for OB/GYN call as assigned.
• Participates in all medical staff functions as requested.
