Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology clinician-educator to join a growing department dedicated to training the next generation of physician leaders. The role supports high-quality access to specialized care for high-risk OB/GYN patients in the region.

You will educate medical students, residents, and fellows, contribute to a collaborative team of 50+ physicians and APPs, and enjoy a customizable clinic

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency/Fellowship.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Demonstrate a commitment to teaching and strong communication and academic interests.

Responsibilities

• Educate medical students, residents, and fellows in OB/GYN.
• Engage in a flexible, customizable clinic schedule.
• Provide dedicated Labor & Delivery coverage (1 day/month).
• Inpatient coverage approximately four weeks per year.
• OR for GYN surgery twice monthly, including robotics for credentialed providers.
• Participate in a flexible call system within the department.
• No formal research requirement.
