Job summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a nontenure track faculty position in the Health Sciences Clinical Series at the level of Assistant Professor or higher, within the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care in the UCI faculty practice, supervise residents and students, contribute to teaching and scholarly activities, and participate

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent and California medical license with DEA by start date.
• Eligible for or certified by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Excellent clinical skills, medical knowledge, and scholarly accomplishments.
• Strong interest in teaching and serving diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide full spectrum obstetrical and gynecologic care in the UCI faculty practice, including GYN inpatient care.
• Supervise resident continuity clinics at UCI’s Federally Qualified Health Centers.
• Teach trainees at all levels and participate in scholarly activities.
• Maintain a private patient practice.
• Educate medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to the fourfold mission to discover, teach, heal, and serve.
